More Details About The Memoir Alleged To Have Been Written By Kim Porter
According to PEOPLE, a memoir titled ‘KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey From The Other Side’ was released via Amazon earlier this month. The book was reportedly penned by an individual named Todd Guzze, who uses the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. Additionally, the outlet notes that the title reportedly rose to the no. 1 spot on the “Literature & Fiction” list.
Per the outlet, a preview of the book — also referred to as Porter’s “diary” — reportedly contains “typos and inaccuracies.” Additionally, the text reportedly details alleged physical abuse and “disturbing and graphic sexual encounters” Porter allegedly experienced at the hands of Diddy.
In reaction to the memoir, Erica Wolf, an attorney for Diddy, shared a statement with PEOPLE:
“a shameless attempt to profit from tragedy,” Wolf reportedly stated. “[Todd Guzze] has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better. Unlike the fabrications in his sickening ‘memoir,’ it is an established fact that Ms. Porter died of natural causes. May she rest in peace.”
The Late Mother’s Children React To Rumors About Her Death & Alleged Book
According to the outlet, Guzze has maintained that the memoir is not “fake.” Furthermore, in a separate interview with Rolling Stone, the author explained:
“If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But it’s real enough to me. Sometimes, you have to just put it out there. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is. That is to get those people to come forward and either corroborate or deny [the claims], and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”
Meanwhile, Porter’s children, Quincy Brown — whom she shares with singer Al B. Sure!, Christian Combs, and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs released a statement about the memoir and her passing via their separate Instagram accounts on Tuesday, September 24.
The statement asserts that they’ve seen “hurtful and false rumors” circulating about Porter and Diddy. Despite the online conversation, the children asserted that their mother did not write a book.
“…Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not,” the statement reads in part. “And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves…”
Additionally, the children explained that they struggle to “reconcile” with their mother’s passing. However, the cause of her death has “long been established.”
“There was no foul play,” the statement reads.
Ultimately, the children shared their disappointment in the world, making a “spectacle” of their mother’s passing. Ultimately, they asked that their mother’s legacy not be “tainted by horrific conspiracy theories.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, Porter spoke exclusively with Rolling Stone and shared how the footage made him “wonder” about Diddy’s relationship with his daughter.
“You can say I was disgusted with the video, and I wouldn’t treat my enemy like that,” the 78-year-old said.
According to the outlet, Jake briefly recalled his daughter allegedly not being able to live with Diddy in the same house.
“[She] just couldn’t live with [him],” he explained. “I think he was a very jealous person. They both loved each other. Kim’s love was legitimate. Puffy’s love, I don’t know what he calls love, you know what I mean? I really don’t think he has any idea what love is.”
