Angela Details Speaking With Her Son About His Dad’s Murder
While on the ‘Baby This is Keke Palmer’ podcast, Angela noted that as her son grew older, he searched online and questioned why someone would take his dad’s life.
“He gets on the phone with me and he’s like ‘I don’t know why he’s not here, but why would somebody shoot him,'” Angela said while remembering a conversation she had with her son.
Although Sutton kept asking about the incident, Angela hesitated to share details, believing he was too young to understand. Sutton Joseph Tennyson Jr. is now eight. Furthermore, the entrepreneur told Keke that she felt hurt when her son learned information from the internet before she could tell him.
“I just hated that the internet told my son before I could tell him. I was so bothered because he got the story and narrative online before I could even like.. sit him down and have that conversation with him,” Angela continued.
